I had a countdown chart so i knew how many days of practice i had I felt very confident and calm i was aware of what was happening so nothing new made me anxious
What would you tell another student about doing a Theory exam?
I say go for it great experience and good way to expand your knowledge
Why is music theory important?
Theory is significant coz it helps you not only read music but gets you more comfortable with your playing

How do you feel about your exam preparations throughout the year
Throughout the year I kept practicing and revising my questions in the exam, I learnt new techniques and new musical concepts. I stayed on track and made sure I was keeping to the plan.
How did you feel on exam day? what was positive for you
On the exam day I went through my flash cards and revised the final bits to ensure I went well in the exam. I think I enjoyed the new environment.
What would you tell another student about doing a Theory exam?
Make sure to practice the most you can. Learn the techniques and use flashcards. Practice exams are the best way to revise.
Why is music theory important?
Music theory is the best way to practice for the practical component of music. It’s the best way to help understand music.

I felt like I was very prepared for my exam because I have done a lot of revision.
How did you feel on exam day? what was positive for you
I felt calm and relaxed as I knew everything that was going to come up on the exam paper from the practice we did
What would you tell another student about doing a Theory exam?
I would say that it is very important to take your time and thoroughly read every question. Make sure you triple check everything at the end.
