About Samantha

I grew up in a family influenced by music. From the age of 12 I began piano lessons in the Northern Suburbs – going on to complete my grade 7 piano exam, joining school bands and studying music and business at TAFE and university. I began teaching piano in 1995 in various schools in the Northern and Eastern suburbs, as well as playing in local bands, church bands and solo performances. I currently teach from my Mawson Lakes home.

  • Certificate In Business and Administration / TAFESA

  • Certificate in Jazz and Popular Music. / TAFE SA

  • Diploma Arts Management  / University SA

  • Grade 1 to 7 Practical AMEB Exams

  • Grade 1 – 4 Theory AMEB Exams

My Teaching

I have a passion for sharing knowledge and I teach using a combination of teaching strategies.

 

  • Engage with student’s imagination and show visuals with colour and hands on materials.

  • I give ownership of student projects and lots of opportunities for growth and achievement including exams

  • I create studio themes that help motivate and engage students as a community and families

  • My tuition is personal and students can learn at their own pace, while reaching personal goals
